The artist

Luana Tuis was born in 1959 and trained at the State Art Lyceum of Venice. Her research follows the path of figurative painting: watercolours, oil paintings, frescoes, trompe l'oeil, portraits and still lifes.

Rivers, lakes and marshes are her favourite subjects: water, in close relationship with the sky and vegetation, becomes a mirror of a state of mind that unwinds, calms, and at times grows tumultuous.
